A Beverly community coffee shop on Walden Parkway partnered with Intelligentsia, anchoring the south side coffee scene.
“Two Mile is the south-side coffee bar Beverly deserves. Intelligentsia partnership means the espresso is sharp, but the soul of the place is the regulars — kids on the way to school, neighbors meeting up before work, the steady rhythm of a community shop.”
Best coffee on the south side. The Walden Parkway location has so much character.
Closed Sundays, but worth working around. The Intelligentsia partnership shows in every cup.

I recently stopped by Two Mile Coffee Bar and honestly fell in love with the vibe of this place. The coffee shop itself feels super cozy, creative, and inspiring, but what made the experience even more special was seeing Nate Otto’s artwork and murals displayed around the space. Being able to sit down, drink coffee, and look at art that feels so connected to Chicago’s creative scene made everything feel really personal and authentic. You can tell this place genuinely cares about community, creativity, and creating an environment where people can slow down and appreciate the little things. Definitely one of those spots that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Can’t wait to come back again ☕🎨
OMG, I’ve always wanted to go here and with 1.5 hours left to store operating hours, I made it the cafe was welcoming, had just enough light and space to do work while having a peach blossomed iced tea! People before me ordered so many coffee options and everyone left satisfied! The barista did an amazing job as well juggling orders with a smile too! Will definitely return!
Tried an iced americano from Two Mile and from Afro Joes and I can confirm that Two Mile takes the cake by far. It was smoother, nuttier, and didn’t leave any funky aftertaste. I will be coming back! Side note: I eavesdropped on the owner’s order in case you’re deciding what to purchase. She got: 1 iced matcha latte w/ oat milk + honey, and 1 latte with whole milk and vanilla :)
First time customer and was pleasantly surprised! The vibe was chill and the 🥐 was bomb! I got the Black Sesame Matcha and the baristas did a great job on the latte art and the drink itself was delicious. The only critique I have is that my husband and I agreed his latte was on the salty side but it was yummy overall. We will be back!
Good ✅️ Great ❌️ Amazing ❌️ The coffee imaged was tasty, 8/10 The sandwich is not worth $14 because of both the price and size. Overall decent place, nice ambiance, but would not return. $31 items for two coffees and a simple sandwich 😬
