“Owl & Lark hits the wellness-cafe sweet spot without losing the plot on coffee. Smoothie bowls, fresh juices, and a real espresso program — the kind of place where you can grab breakfast with someone who hates coffee and not feel like you compromised.”
Gluten-free options that aren't an afterthought. Coffee is a real bonus.

The ambiance, the drinks, the whole place! We visited here while out of town and had an amazing experience! We loved the vibe of the place and spent a good amount of time hanging out here. They also make their almond milk in house with just almonds and water! Normally, this is available just for their smoothies, but they were flexible about using it for their lattes instead. Such an amazing place! Would definitely visit again!
Such a relaxing and cozy spot! The decor creates a calm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The menu offers a great mix of classic drinks and flavor-forward options, plus some food items too. I ordered a blueberry iced latte with half the flavor since I don’t like overly sweet drinks — the barista mentioned it’s usually on the sweeter side, but it turned out perfect for my taste. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be adding this place to my go-to list for coffee. Can’t wait to come back and try something to eat. I do agree with a few of the other reviews that the service could be more welcoming but the barista I had was helpful with making my drink. I did notice when I came in no one greeted me or asked for my order even after standing there for some time. I think maybe one person should be taking greeting and taking orders and the other two should be working on the drinks. Just my thoughts... I will still go back to try it again.
Owl and Lark is the only coffee shop in the suburbs that gives me the feeling of being in a coffee shop in the city. The space is a cozy environment, their coffee and food is excellent, and the employees are an incredibly kind group of people. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore if you value craft and atmosphere.
My go-tos are the Greek avocado Greek salad and a mango Lark smoothie. The salad can be quite compact and messy when trying to mix it. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are the reason I continue to come back. I also recommend the Nutella toast. I’ve had several of their smoothie bowl options, and while the lavender blueberry one is pretty good, some of the other options aren’t quite worth it. Service here is a bit marked down because once they made me a completely different smoothie than what I had ordered. And even though I’ve spent several hundred dollars while frequenting this establishment, when I notified the cashier at my next visit, she only could offer an apology.
This place did not disappoint when it came to drink and food quality. I had a delicious hot rose cardamom latte, and a green goddess bagel with added salmon. Both were pretty pricey, expect to spend around $20-30 if you’re hoping for a drink and something to eat. The vibes were great, but it is definitely not a quiet space. They were pretty busy all throughout my time spent there studying, and it’s a bit of a small space, so maybe not the best for a sit-down meet up with friends, but it’s alright for working if you’ve got a good pair of headphones. You’ve got to get there at a good time or be willing to wait for a seat. Overall I had a good experience and would definitely visit again!
