Logan Square

A cafe in Logan Square where 100% of profits support mental health education and suicide prevention. Great coffee, greater cause.
“Sip of Hope proves that a cafe can be both mission-driven and genuinely excellent. The coffee is sourced from Dark Matter, the space is warm and inviting, and every dollar you spend goes toward mental health resources. It's feel-good in the best way.”
Love what this place stands for. The fact that the coffee is also excellent makes it even better.
Great patio in summer. The baristas are some of the friendliest in the city.

Reviewing because I showed up around 1:15 pm last Wednesday not realizing they close at 1 those days. The barista actually came up to the front to unlock the door and explain they were closed and I gotta say - as someone who has worked in customer service before and experienced customers pulling on a locked door multiple times when we were clearly closed..::that was the kindest thing the barista could have done. They weren’t paid or rewarded for being kind - just chose to be. So I will definitely be coming back when they ARE open just because it really seems like they practice what they preach.
Very solid place with great drinks, great people, and a worthwhile cause. There's ample seating for working remotely or passing the time with a book. The shop also hosts & organizes community events. As a community focused non profit, specializing in mental illnes, they're well worth your time to visit & support
There is really nothing more I can add that hasn't been said, but I want to reiterate that all the good things you read are true. This shop is a genuine Logan Square treasure. Between the fantastic coffee and the incredible pastries, it is easily some of the best the city has to offer. It really doesn't get any better than getting a top-tier experience while supporting such a vital cause. If you are in Chicago, this is a must-visit.
A coffee shop with an inspiring mission, great atmosphere, and delicious products. I will be back! Most people here on a Monday during the day were focused on their work, it’s a quieter and more peaceful space. A ton of outlets, standing and sitting seating. Kind staff that guided me to the best drink. Nectar of the Gods latte was AMAZING. Sweetened with agave, cinnamon and chocolate, absolutely delicious. And not to mention 16oz for $5.50! super reasonable prices for Chicago.
The best coffee shop in the world. My favorite. Not only are their coffee and treats delicious, but 100% of their proceeds go towards mental health. Not to mention they’re always so friendly and accommodating, and the artwork they have on the walls and in the bathrooms are so cool! Always a place worth going to.
